Friday 29 march

Hello everybody the whole school started Korfball we learnt so much
It is a mixed game of netball and basketball.
Everybody enjoyed it, is so fun!
Everybody loved it so much  everybody is excited for play day.
We learnt so much. You can't kick and run with the ball
Youri was the coach and it was so fun I loved it.
When we all got to play but the last day the fire alarm went off. But it was okay nothing was bad.

Missionaries form south sardan

Thursday 21 march
Phil and Janet  missionaries from south Sudan came and.Came and talked to us
we learnt
hello in south Sudan is Eco salary.
Children aren't encouraged  to go to school.
They have no electricity.
When it's so hot they put the sheets in the cold shower.
Bamboo is made for houses.
The Nile River is a river that travel from south Sudan to Sudan and to Egypt
They put scars on their face.
It gets to 42 degrees over in south Sudan
100 south Sudan pound is 30 cents in New Zealand money.
Children hunt with bows and shoot rabbits.
They use a stick for brushing your teeth.
They do not have good houses.
The boys when they dance they have spears and dance with them.
The air plane can only fit 12 people.
The house had mud walls.
They had to squat when they need to go toilet.

Don the eel man

Friday 21 march
We had visitor today - Don the eel scientist
We learnt so much ... we learnt 

• They can swim backwards
• The male eels leave first 

• Long fin eels eyes are very good  
• When they evolve they have another name
• The rings on the ear bones can tell you how old an eel is.
• They eat ducks and ducklings 
• They sleep in the day 

When the eels are about  to leave they don't eat.
They will latch on and spin round and round to eat their prey.
The eels in Australia
have spots.
The eels have spots
There are 19 kinds of eels in the world 
Their teeth face back.wards
They eat crabs
and 1000 of eels come back from Tonga when they are born.

Lernz wed conferences

Hello everybody

We were in Community Time and we had alive chat with people on LEARNZ.  We had a fun experience and loads of people were listening to the Web chat.  We learnt that we can turn seawater into freshwater.
The people were so good  - the people who answered the questions.
 There names were john Leona Liz.   I learnt that there is a limit of how much water you can take
it is mean if you do it you without permission.

Hello it is raining today but it has been a. good week and on Sunday is saint patrick's day.  Today we all had to wear a green hat!  Everyone is looking forward to the playday and we are in school today.
