Week one to six update

Friday 30 August

This week has been great  but sad because winter sport ended.

And 

Cantamath  was so great  because  we came first  to finish.  In our group I liked it how the questions keep going.  I am  loving elvers 1.

And market day was so good because everyone bought so many things like from our stand someone
brought 5 brownies.And every one kept on buying brownies and pizza and one person brought a muffin.

And we have  had the school disco was pretty good but people keeper shaking up fizzy and opening
it and chucking it in the crowds and making big mess.  I love it when you get all the things like glow sticks.


In winter sport I was so close to get a try in rugby  and tackling the biggest kid in the team.
And I threw the ball in the line out and I was in the scrum.
But this year I did not get into zones and in zone they were play really hard teams.

Friday 28 June

Hello, everyone, we had an amazing week!  I enjoyed...

Winter sport was really good because we had a tie with St Francis.  I through the ball in the line out and I was in the scrum. We got a few tries.  Ben was off for the first half with me.

I got 16/16 for my spelling bee and we won the prize pizza.

We had a sausage sizzle for lunch. It was really good for lunch but it takes a bit longer to get them.

For inquiry I and my partners Liam and Matthew are having a food stall.  I am baking cake and meat lovers pizza.

Today we had a welcoming ceremony for the people that are new to O.LA and they were singing with kapa haka. And then inside, we sat down and listen about Jesus and when he had the kids coming to him but the disciple's coming to tell them to leave Jesus alone but he did let them stay.  Then
after the ceremony, we got an early morning tea.

Weekly update week 6

Friday 21 June

It is "Get your sparkle on" day!!!     
                                
  

Sparkle day is when you make others happy and share so we come to school happy and in bright and sparkly clothes.

In other news, the Crusaders are taking on the Highlanders tonight in Super Rugby. If they win, which will happen, they go in the finals.

I hope they get in!   My favorite player is Braydon Ennor. He is very fast he is a winger. which he gets
all the tries out near the right-wing.

Friday 14 June

This week I have enjoyed the Middleton Grange music performance because I like music. An interesting thing I learnt was that there is an instrument called a French horn. They were all set up after lunch and started to play when we entered. They played a  song that was famous in London which had a flute, saxophone and french horn solo.They had a jazz band too which was my favourite part of the performance. It was about 10 minutes and we got to sing along. I loved the jazz band!

Weekly update

Friday 24 May

Hello everybody,

It has been an amazing week!

Winter Sport: 
It was so sunny this week and not raining like last week, so we had lot of playing in the sun.

It was  sunny when we got on the bus.  We went on the bus with the soccer team we went all the way around Haggley park. We got off and went to where we were playing Saint Martins. I was off for the first half, watching the game from the sideline. I went on and we beat Saint Martin. Thereafter we played West  Spreydon and I did not get the ball once. 

My grandma came to watch which was so nice.When the game was over I got on the bus with my best friend Liam. We got back to school and the bell rang so I went home.

Winter sport

Hello everybody, 

It is anti -bullying day today where we get to wear a pink shirt. I had a great week!

On Thursday it was winter sport I played rugby with my best friend. We all lined up into our teams and the teachers told us the rules before climbing on the bus and heading off to Hagley Park. We ate lunch before we played.

The coach said we were going to play rugby and I tackled heaps of people. We won our match against West Spreydon. We got heaps of tries so now we are going to play against Saint Francis. During the match I caught the ball as it flew high across the sky and ran as fast as I could across the try line.... We WON!
